Another Sunday in June, another trip to Bedales and another victory for the Hawks, their fourth straight win at the Petersfield school.
Opener Steve Parker scored 33 in his first match of the season and Dave Maclean scored 48 runs in his annual Hawks outing. Rory Peterson retired on 50 runs and the Gents had to beat 175 runs from their 30 overs.
Broughton, Van Niekerk and Peterson took a wicket a piece but Dave Maclean took an impressive four wickets from his seven overs to help the Hawks record a 13 run victory.
This was the Hawks third Sunday win of the season, they like playing on a Sunday especially when Beadles are the opponents.
